Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Starborn Ventures, Inc., a Nevada corporation (“Starborn Thrive,” “we,” “us”), which operates the Starborn Thrive service, collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website and the parenting relationship assessment. By using the service you agree to this policy.
Who we are
Starborn Ventures, Inc., a Nevada corporation is the controller of your personal information. You can reach us at [Add your postal mailing address], or by email at hello@starborn.site for any privacy question or to exercise your rights.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic Google profile (name and account identifier).
- Assessment responses. The 1–5 ratings you choose and any free-text “reflections” you write about your relationship with your child or co-parent, and the record of your responses (the assessment transcript).
- Generated results. Your score, category, and the AI-written analysis (an inference) we create from your responses.
- Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe, your email address and first name.
We collect this information directly from you, and from Google when you choose to sign in. Providing assessment answers is optional; if you don’t, we can’t generate a result. Your email is required to create an account.
Sensitive information
Some of what you may write in the reflection box can be sensitive, because it can describe a family relationship or a child’s behavior. We use this information only to generate and store your analysis, and we do not use or disclose it to infer characteristics for advertising or for any other purpose that would give you a right to limit its use under California law.
How we use your information
- To create your account and let you sign in (basis: performance of a contract).
- To generate, save, email, and let you review your assessment results (basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as described below).
- To send the newsletter you signed up for (basis: your consent; you can opt out anytime).
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix and improve it (basis: our legitimate interest in operating a safe, reliable service; a balancing assessment is available on request).
How AI is used (automated processing)
Your assessment ratings and anything you write in the reflection box are sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic, via OpenRouter) to generate your written analysis, score, and category. Your score is calculated primarily from your own ratings; the AI may only adjust it within a small fixed range, and the category is derived from that score. This is not a solely-automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you or your child, and a person can review any result on request. The analysis is informational only and is not medical, psychological, or clinical advice.
The reflection box is optional. Any text you enter, including anything you choose to write about your child or co-parent, is transmitted to our AI provider to generate your analysis and is stored with your result. That text is handled under the AI provider’s terms; we do not use your reflections for advertising or sell them. Because this information can be sensitive, only enter what you are comfortable sharing, and avoid third parties’ full names or identifying details. You can delete the result, including this text, at any time. If you have questions about how a result was produced, contact hello@starborn.site.
Children’s data
The service is intended for parents and caregivers who are adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly let children use it or knowingly collect personal information from a child. The assessment is completed by you, the parent, and may describe your child’s behavior; you are responsible for the information you choose to provide about another person. Because the free-text box is transmitted to our AI provider and stored with your result, only enter what you are comfortable sharing and avoid your child’s full name or other identifying details. If you believe a child has used the service or provided information directly, contact hello@starborn.site and we will delete it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers (processors) below, each of which is engaged under a data processing agreement and acts on our instructions:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication and database (account + assessment storage) | United States |
| Sign-in (Google OAuth) | United States | |
| OpenRouter | Routes assessment text to the AI model | United States |
| Anthropic | AI model that generates your written analysis | United States |
| Vercel | Website hosting and delivery | United States |
| Resend | Sending transactional and newsletter email | United States |
Your assessment data may also be associated with your account across Starborn products that share the same account system, so your history appears in one place. Deleting a result, or asking us to close your account, removes the data across those products.
California privacy (CCPA/CPRA)
In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (email, account identifier), internet/usage information, and inferences (your score and category). We collect it from you and from Google at sign-in, for the business purposes described above. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. You have the right to know, access, delete, and correct your personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information; we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email hello@starborn.site.
International transfers
Our providers are located in the United States, so your information may be processed there. Where required (for example for users in the UK or EU), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (and, for the UK, the UK Addendum/IDTA). You can request a copy of these safeguards by emailing hello@starborn.site.
How long we keep it
- Assessment results: kept until you delete them or close your account.
- Account / sign-in record: kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of an account-closure request.
- Newsletter email: kept until you unsubscribe.
- Backups: purged within 30 days of deletion.
From your dashboard you can delete any saved assessment result at any time. To close your account entirely and remove the rest of your data (your sign-in record and any newsletter subscription), email hello@starborn.site and we will action it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to withdraw consent or object to certain processing. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. You can delete your saved assessment results from your dashboard; for any other request, including full account deletion or withdrawing consent to the AI processing, contact hello@starborn.site. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
Email choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting hello@starborn.site.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
